Default What Diff do I have?

So, got my new '98 ZJ on the road and all is not right with the diff in that it appears the clutch packs have seized up. Once it is warm, turning to the left or right emits noises like it is in 4wd and wont release. (groaning and scrubbing the tyres)

I cant do any research because I dont know what diff I have. Looking from the rear it is slightly oval, has LSD on a sticker and a rubber bung with the word Dana inprinted on the bung. There are 10 bolts fixing the inspection plate. On the front side are the words
PN: 5806 - 4
941014921

I'm thinking it has the wrong oil. I'll try this first before getting serious.

Thanks in advance.

From what I can glean so far is that I have a D44 that needs 75/140w oil and 120mls of friction modifier. Correct??

Likely a D35 which I understand could be a bit delicate.

I’m guessing D35 Bill.

Can you compare shape to these ones?

Ahh thanks, that's what I've been looking for. So I have a D35. I'll pop out this morning and get the modifier.

The family have organised a picnic on the beach for tomorrow so I want to put on a good showing.
