Default Camp Lighting

Thought Id kick off a thread for the different types of camp lighting people are using/recommend.

BogBuster LED camp strip light - 1m length, 12V with 234 LEDs. Velcro backing and hanging clips on both ends. 5m cig plug cable with dial dimmer on/off switch. AMAZING light output and the dial dimmer gives infinite dimming points which is cool. For under $50 I cant complain

Lowest setting

Highest setting

I have no affiliation with BogBuster just sharing a quick product review

I use 12V Waterproof Cool White 5630 Led Strip Lights Bars that I purchased off ebay in my camper trailer. A set of 4 was $21 delivered.

I use a string of 4 in the annex room on a dimmer switch and another string of 4 in the main room/bedroom. These ones are operated via remote control so I don't have to get out of bed to turn them off/on or dim them.

For a cheap light, they throw out a lot of light and I've often had people ask what we have because of how bright they can be.

Strip led, 5m with dimmer for under $10 delivered from eBay (VIC seller).
The pump on my cheap camp shower had died and I saved cable/switch/plug.

Couple of spots and solder and some heat shrink gave me a 5m strip light for under $10.

I still laugh when I walk passed the same thing going for over $60 at Anaconda and the like.

When I first started adding lights I didn't do my research which is really usual for me and paid around $50 for a strip light.

I then found the ones on ebay that I ended up fitting and like you shake my head when you see the stupid prices that camping stores are flogging them off for.

I have a couple of rechargable LED worklamps I picked up cheap......pretty good for lighting a camp area.
I recharge off the ARC Pak.

I have done the same for the inside of my pop up. Used the waterproof stuff o the outside. Have 2 cheap LED reversing lights on the back that can be turned on with the camper battery. The trick is to have just enough light & not look like a car yard in the city. $25 should be enough to get all the lights you need for a camp site.

These lights are really handy. I bought a 5m strip to originally use in my camper. I ended up using them on my tailgate and my side awning on the car.
