Default braided brake lines

Has anyone replaced there standard rubber brake lines with braided brake lines? Now I'm running longer shocks the brake lines are limiting the travel so before I break them I thought I'd replace them. When I had a SWB Maverick with a 5" lift I bought some brake lines off the shelf from BBM. I went to a hose specialist today and they quoted me $68 + GST each....(not fitted)

I only want to do the front as it flexes heaps now! Any information would help!
