hi

Know how you feel.
Did you ever fix this problem or what happened?
The 2001 in Australia has different wiring to the 2000 and 1999 ones. Am sure it is related to the wiring arrangement.
Also it is to do with the California specs as it is often IAC, and O2s arrangement.
I have a 2000 and 2001 and the 2001 is driving me nuts. At the asd relay I get different readings between the 2.
Who is the company you dealt with for that part number as it is supposed to be for export only.
Hope you sorted it ifv so let us or me know please.

Cheers Peter

Have you considered the possibility that the engine may have broken a timing chain? worth checking.

If all these items above check out OK, have a look for a damage to the engine wiring loom. If the loom is suspect it can be changed insitu it is a big job but not impossible
Exactly! Going back to the basics of repairing and dissecting the parts of an automobile is always a good rule of thumb.
