OK, have a rough plan of our stay in Tassie so anyone wanting to go out on a track send me a PM.
We'll be basically arriving on the 3rd and heading straight down to Hobart the next morning. Stay down there for a couple days, while checking out the south coast and then move upwards along the east coast through to Launceston. I'll have the net on me so be able to check the forum for updates daily.

Yep- 4WD tracks in Tasmania: Off road Tasmania. Is a good book, i have one, used it around Tas in 07. Be up for some wheeling in Feb 11 as Tassie will be my new home from then on

How much does it cost to get on the boat and come across there? I'll be down in Vic and like the idea of heading down to Tas.
Is all the 4wding through national parks? I'll have my dog with me so want to be able to take him where ever I wheel.
