Default 31" simex centerpedes or 31" BFG M/T KM's

Hi All,

I own a stock 96 XJ and I am now planning my upgrade wish list. I am starting with the tyres and want to get your opinion of which tyre type I should go for.

I ve used 32" BFG's on my 4Runner before I sold it and got a Jeep, but iam not sure if the BFG's will be a better option on the Jeep or the Simex centerpedes ?

Cheers !

The Simex tyres will be noisey thats for sure, Polly ran these if I remember correctly. Not sure if the BFG's would be much quieter though. How much lift are you planning on? neithier will fit a stock Jeep.

As an aside I had a look at the Maxxis Mudzilla LT tyre up at tough truck and I'd love to run those. You could also look at the Buckshot Mudder for a cheaper tyre.

Cheers
Steve

iam looking at 4" to 6" of lift. i know i can fix 32" @ 6" lift but I really dont need that much.

I dont care much about noise as the BFG's where loud enough. Ill look at these other ones too, Maxxis and Buckshot

cheers

So are they much louder than the Coopers? I'm kinda tempted at the price of $170 each but the XJ is my daily driver. How long did the Simex MT last?

Cheers
