The 2018 JL Wrangler & 2019 JT Wrangler Truck
Want to have a good look at what the 2018 JL Wrangler and 2019 JT Wrangler Pickup Truck will look like.
Combining all of the design leaks, confirmed changes, and spy photos that have come out over the past year, JLWranglerForums developed these stunning renders and they have been shared on extremeterrain.com. They take all of the specs into count and give us a look at the future JL Wrangler and JT Wrangler Pickup.
The renderings of the JT Wrangler Truck showcase some of the major design details we have seen and learned about, such as the modular roof design, LED Headlights, and raked windshield.
The rendering of the 2019 JT Pickup also features a prominent hood bulge and the iconic Wrangler Grille design that has become synonymous with the brand.
The Wrangler Pickup also features the LED Fender lights that have been spotted on multiple test vehicles.
Overall the body lines follow the general design hallmarks of the Jeep brand, such as their rigid and angular shape, giving the Wrangler Pickup a well-defined and classic look that is perfect for the modern day.
Taking multiple styling cues from the Jeep Wrangler, the JT Wrangler Pickup is not a huge divergence from the Wrangler, giving it both an off-roading and utilitarian appeal with its ~5 Ft. bed.
2018 JL Wrangler
The 2018 JL Wrangler renderings take a similar approach to the next gen look of the Wrangler as ours renders. These renders really showcase the modular 3-piece hardtop roof design that we have been talking about for some time.
Like the rendering of the JT Wrangler Pickup Truck, the renderings of the ’18 JL Wrangler bring to life all of the updated Wrangler design elements that have come to light over the past year.
From the LED headlights and fender lights to the flip-up rear window, these JL Wrangler renderings help to truly envision the future of the Jeep Wrangler.
2018 Wrangler 3-Piece Hardtop Animation
2018 JL Wrangler Color Matched Roof
Two of the coolest images to be released in these rendering are off the JL Wrangler’s 3-piece hardtop roof in action, giving you an animated look at how it will work. These animations of the JL Wrangler’s Hardtop show both a two-tone Wrangler roof as well as a color-matched one.
These renderings were executed with phenomenal attention to detail, capturing all of the subtle nuances of the 2018 JL Jeep Wrangler and 2019 JT Jeep Wrangler Pickup Truck.
We couldn’t be more excited or eager to see the next-generation of America’s most off-roaded vehicle hit dealer lots and enthusiasts driveways after seeing these images.
How excited are you for the next generation JL Wrangler and JT Wrangler Pickup after seeing these images? Comment your thoughts below!

I like it. The sleeker windscreen looks like it will reduce some of the wind resistance issues the Wrangler has faced for years, the hard top pieces look like they might be a little less awkward to deal with, the door handles look like they are moving away from the button design and more toward the paddle, a move that is sure to win points from certain areas of the community. I'm concerned that the ute will not meet a 3.5t towing capacity based on its size, but if it does, it will be a clear winner for me in the market

I think it looks really good. Unfortunately it's all pure speculation at the moment.
