i just fitted a 1kg fire extinguisher to the YJ, coz we all know now that its normal for Jeeps to burn....

but in all seriousness, putting the beat up aside, its essential that every vehicle on the road should be fitted with an extinguisher.

I've got dual fire extinguishers in my truck .. but there not for my truck .. but rather for others I encounter.
I've watched one mates truck burn (it wasn't a Jeep) .. and won't watch another.

Yes I've seen a small fire that could have easily been put out by firing an extinguisher through the radiator grill, or though the crack of an unlatched bonett, consume a whole car.
If the first one there has an extiguisher and knows how to use it, it can turn a big incident into a very minor incident.

all so true, and its not just restricted to 4wd's...
all cars can have these same issues one way or another, and it would be a good idea if all cars were fitted with one.
