GENUINE Weber 38 DGES Carburetor.

$295 ONO

"The Outlaw" made in Spain and distributed by Redline USA. Very little use (500kms max). Going FI on vehicle ultimately and too many carbs in the shed!**Original Weber white choke unit [pictured] was DOA when purchased so was replaced with black version PN 57804.333

Currently jetted as supplied...
Idle 0.45
Mains 145
Air correctors 170
Emulsion tubes F50**

http://www.redlineweber.com
"The 38mm DGAS carb should be the only consideration if the engine is in the future or currently going to have any level of additional engine modification. Such as headers, free flowing exhaust, a cam, or rebuilt engine. Usually these motors will be improved over stock with oversize pistons and towing cam. The 38 will enhance the improvements of any of these items. The 6 cylinder engine applications are particularly enhanced by this application. In-fact on ALL JEEP and LAND CRUISER applications with any upgrades this is a mandatory choice."

Postage from $17.55 depending on where you are or you organise courier.

Also listed on eBay...

Weber 34/34 DGEC 2 Barrel Progressive Carburetor (Solex from Weber North America) ***SOLD***

$140 ONO

Years of great service when my 258 was stock in Jeep CJ7. Vast improvement on the aged carter BBD system I had. Comes with adaptor plates for stock 258 two barrel intake.

Fits many other vehicles with appropriate adaptor.

Postage from $17.55 depending on where you are or you organise courier.

looking at changing the carby on a 232 & was recommended getting a motorcraft 2100, maybe interested in this, do you know how this weber compares with the 2100. Got a 258 with hesco FI runs cheaper than a carb but has its drawbacks when trying to troubleshoot fuel, electrical issues, been more than once tempted to rip it out & put back a carby.

Think they are pretty comparable. i think the 38 flows a little more air than the 2100. 400 cfm compared to up to 350 cfm. In my limited research prior to purchasing the weber reportedly makes a little more power and I have larger intake than stock and headers so i went the weber.

Cheers
