Default New shocks for my WH but which to go for

Hi everyone, i have read through many posts on many sites but would like to hear your opinions on shocks. I put on some King Springs last year allgood but i just installed a front full bar (ECB) and find the front quite spongey now. What is good what is bad, would like to hear from your experiences given so many choices that there are now
Bilstein, KYB, Lovells, Staag, etc, etc...

Cheers guys

For touring shocks Bilstein are considered the best but I am using Old Man Emu (OME) & find them quite good, had an issue with one at 39000km (40000km warranty) & was replaced with no fuss.

http://www.murchisonproducts.com.au/ use OME in there suspension kits.

I was going to buy Bilstein shocks for my WJ and CRDSTU talked me into OME shocks instead.

Apart from killing one pair of front shocks (seals failed and leaked oil) on an outback trip, they did get me home and were replaced under warranty.

Stu will say the valving on the Jeep Bilsteins is too firm, this I can't comment on. From personal experience I know Bilsteins are very good on Land Rover products.

However the OME shocks work very well on my WJ, a slightly firmer ride around town but they work very well off road and on corrugations.

I'd buy them again.

I looked around a lot before buying mine, I got Durashocks, the are adjustable height spring platforms. They are recommended for lifted applications, they drive great and have a 2 year warranty.$ 300 a set helped too! They will help with bar weight sag. Mine measures 550mm from centre wheel to fender with lifted king springs and Durashocks. I'll post a photo soon.

thanks for the info guys...so many options out there its good to get some expert opinions to think about. Bilsteins get a good write up on other forums but its good to see some discussion about others like OME and Lovells, etc...

keep the opinions coming
