OK, so the daughter has been pestering me to update her 2005 WH to a Holden SV6.
I made a deal that I will get her car and I can upgrade her.

Found her a nice white 2013 VE SV6 Z edition. Has 19" wheels, reverse camera, leather seats etc.. She is happy as shit.

Unfortunately, the 2005 has taken a battering over the last few years.
I took her on a run and she was great, but the daughter reported she had started to hesitate on long runs.
I found code P0046 turbo actuator again.
Also a code for the shifter that wont clear.

I have ordered a replacement shifter module and a new turbo actuator G-001. Only a Chinese one, but it should get me out of trouble.

Also had to order a new left side wing mirror, a left side rear fog lens and some new wind deflectors.

Will have to do some panel and paint as well as she has received some dings over the course of being owned by a young P plater.

Ive had to delete a heap of files from my OneDrive account as Microsoft started getting funny. So.. pics have gone of this build. I had nearly 1G of pics just for this WH thread...

I'll keep you all posted on how the 2005 WH tidy up goes. She is still a great car and runs so well. Just need a few gremlins sorted out and a major clean up, service and love...

Cheers..

Just a quick update.
I replaced the turbo actuator with another new one. She now drives great again.
When I removed the shift module from center console I noticed some wires were disconnected. These run from a solenoid that locks the shifter in Park.
Anyway, fixed that too and code went away.

New mirror fitted, new rear fog light fitted, all panel and paint done.
Gave her a service with 10lt synthetic oil.
Interior detailed with washed seats etc.

She had come up really nice again. Unfortunately I can’t keep it, so I’m planning on putting her up on Market place for about $8500. Can’t get a luxurious 3.5T towing vehicle for anything like that price.

Cheers,

ah so that's why no images load in the thread, that's unfortunate it was a great visual aid
