That was the reason why I ended up mounting mine in the rear with the outlet under the rear bar. I needed it to reach the camper trailer. ARB have extension hoses but they are pretty pricey for what they are.

CMM Mount plate under drivers seat works perfectly and keeps compressor out of the weather

I may copy this one! Just wondering how did you run the air hose to the rear bar? Did you use the draining hole? Thanks
