i couldnt see a problem as the light brackets mount to the botom 2 holes on the side and the snorkle mounts to the top 2 i dont have pics of that but my mirror mounts use the same holes and they fit behind the snorkle fine

If u haven't brought your light already try and find a set that the lens is recessed back into the housing, like lightforce, other wise u get a lot of light shining back into your eyes and the cab. Covers are a no go as well as they shine the light back out of there edges.

Interesting, I hadn't thought of that. Was planning on fitting my Narva 175's but if that's gonna happen, I won't be fitting those lights.Would KC's do the same thing

Thanks Tiny.I looked at your pics with the different mirrors and I thought there would be a good chance that I could fit some windscreen mounted lights. The only pics I have been able to find of these lights fitted to JK's are ones fitted with ARB snorkels, which are a bit too technical when it comes to fitting for my liking. Want to keep my mods simple as possible.

Not sure on the KCs as i have never run them but u can see on the pic there the edges of the covers would really glow. Also if your wires come double sheathed like theses ones put a dop of silicon in it other wise it pipes water in behind your dash. I ended up painting the edges with black paint to stop the reflection, it worked but i had to do it after every summer as i think the sun would peel the paint off.

But besides all that I had theses IPF 968s, they throw out a very nice rectangle beam that doesn't put to much glare on your bonnet. I think I was more impressed with the quality of the light theses put out than i was with the shear amount of light put from my LF240s.

Sounds like I have a bit of research to do on this before I take the plunge and do it.DIY your info has been really good and given me things to think about that I hadn't yet considered ie: water in the dash.Considering how much it rains up here in the wet season, I'm gonna need to make sure there are no gaps at all around the wiring.

With lights, I think I will probably leave my Narva's on the bullbar (when I get it) and get some different, smaller and deeper lights.I'm not a fan of IPF's.I bought a set a while ago and they quickly ended up on my dad's cars. But there are heaps and heaps of different lights on the market now, so I will have plenty to look at.

Of course the other big thing I've gotta look at if I do this is more power to run all these lights.I have seen on another thread where someone has squeezed an extra, smaller battery into the area in front of the main battery and that's the sort of set up I would like to do.It's just finding someone good to do it, who will work on a Jeep.Which is easier said than done in this town

Oh well, back to the drawing board
