Default How to install Rancho 9000xl in rear

Hi Guys,

Got a pair of rear Rancho 9000xl shocks for a price I could not refuse. How do I install it so the adjustment knob is out of harms way and still reachable (if that is at all possible)

Is this the way to do it?

Cheers

Bernard

Thanks Nemesis. For those interested I see Rancho is doing a new mono tube shock for the JK, the 7000mt series.

Cheers

a few things it shares with the Bilstein 5100 - body design, 46mm bore and piston, 14mm shaft, internal floating piston to separate oil from nitrogen...things it does not share include a very proven digressive valve design and vulcanised rubber bushings exceeding OEM quality.

for the money that is already being asked here in Australia by 4wd1 you're better off buying Fox shocks from DBOR. Going to get a better product too.

What's that clamped onto your axle housing there ausjeeper? Fairly sure it would be a track bar bracket, but I'm still interested, which brand?

Sorry, not my Jeep, it is a pic from jk-forum. The bracket is for what seems to be an axle truss supporting some weird triangular track bar.
