Default Scangauge II X-Gauges

Just wondering if anyone has successfully managed to set-up some X-Gauges on the Scan Gauge II to show Transmission Temp and Exhaust Gas Temp for a 3.0L CRD in an XH or WH?

Cheers

Not sure about scan gauge but I have a bluetooth dongle and use my phone to monitor and reset codes which should be able to check any standard output. I will have to check transmission temp.

Thumbs up

Thanks for starting this thread, Fud

These were the codes that I used to get transmission fluid temperature in Celsius from the 5 speed auto of a 2006 XK Commander CRD with a ScanGauge II (very old firmware ver 3.15)

TXD: 07E1215C
RXF: 0461055C0000
RXD: 4808
MTH: 00010001FFCE

Getting around 75 deg on the transmission in easy driving conditions. Whilst I believe the Merc 5 speed auto has an oil cooler, I am surprised that when the vehicle is moving and cruising at a steady speed, the trans temperature does not come down very much at all. It's as if there is some kind of thermostat for the transmission.

On a Toyota Land Cruiser, the fluid temperature drops significantly and noticeably once the torque converter is locked up.

I don't know the Scangauge codes for EGT.
