It needs a good wash and polish and on close inspection that engine isn't as shiny as you think ......... Funny you should mention that spare leak, thought it was the valve and I had sorted it but the other day I found it flat again, a very good water test, water with dish washing liquid and I found a tiny leak from a plug, so I did the proper thing and replugged it with one of my fibre plugs, that seems to have fixed the bugga with the Geolanders looking like being replaced at end of year it really only has to last till then and a Geolander will become a spare.......... 7.5lts chucked in the sump too....

Looks bloody shiny to me...wont be posting any pix of mine under the bonnet...dirt roads to beaches dont lead to shiny anything...jus sayin

Never clean mine just hit it with a blower every so often to blow the sand and dust off... just driving around the streets here everything gets sandy... engine cover hangs in shed so that stops any build up of crud.

Went into the Local Auto Store and ordered the Filters...they had the Oil....for the upcoming adventure Service.... $171 for Filters....including a new cabin filter....and the Penrite 10w-40 Fully Sync Envro u beaut, green packaging to show its 'nice' 5lt drums were $74 each...no Nulon Oil products sold at the outlet, was gonna give it a try......filters are on order....no cabin or air in stock....'salt mines' have me crossing the country over the next week or so...so all should be waiting for me when I get back.....I O I O its off to work I go.

I usually try and wait to get them on special at Supercrap along with a special on oil, or I order the filters online, much cheaper than the shops here in Adelaide. Got a litre of power steering fluid last week for a top up, fark me, that is like liquid gold!

Same here @Grippy order on Ebay from this mob https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/255597668028 , big box of WesfilCoopers about $100 delivered nowadays .............. don't bother with the cabin filter though, changed it once but now just gets a air blow job.........

Cabin filter has never been changed....180k on the clock...figure Id give it a treat...was just over $30...no biggies
