Default Special Tool#8350

Hi All,

I am helping out a mate check out an issue with the valves on his WJ 4.7 V8 Jeep Cherokee. I am looking to find the dimensions of the wedge that holds the timing chain while the heads are removed. It is special tool #8350. All manuals I have used before show the dimensions and how to make one, Jeep do not offer this.

Hopefully, someone can let me know the measurements of this so I can make one and finish the job. Seems like he has a burnt/bent valve on number 8 cyclinder. We are almost there, we are down to the heads now, so we need this tool before we can go any further.
Any other advice will be greatly accepted.

Please help if you can.

Thanks everyone

Just checked my manual & it seems your right , dimensions not given.
In the past I have used a home made wedge (Bit of 19mm thick wood cut on angle) on many different brands of engines. The actual dimensions arent normally critical.Just measure the gap & make narrow end smaller & big end larger ,drill hole on big end ,attach string or wire for removal & lightly hammer in.
