[QUOTE=john_char;1693334]I appreciate the feedback. I’m surprised that there wasnt a tab welded in the bullbar for an antenna…..

ARB assures me this will fit the Summit. It’ll be interesting to see how it fits, I’m not too sure about how wide the front is compared to overlanders etc.

I’m picking up the bullbar tomorrow and will fit it on the weekend. I was going to get them to do it but rather do these things myself. That way I know the ins and outs of the thing. I fitted a uneek bar to my last jeep so it’s not my first rodeo.

I will word ARB up regarding the Summit/S-Limited problem before I fork out the readies $$$.

Next question. Who’s fitted an ARB bar before? Any tips?

I have an ARB bar on this 2015, and had an ARB bar on the previous 2014. Both though have / had no forward radar thing, but, I found both have spacers between the brackets and the bar...both have had one extra spacer on one side to the other.I don't know why, whether there is a reason for that.
The ARB bar though will contact the panel below the headlights if there are no spacers and cause a major scrub mark.
Also the ARB lower skirt at the sides in front of the tyres can contact the steer tyres on turning due to very low clearance with bigger tyres. Mine are 275/65/18 mud tyres though. 285/60/18's did not touch the skirts...

Any update on how fitting went John? I know a couple of other people who are keen to hear how the ARB bar gels with the Summit - they've been told by ARB and all other manufacturers that they won't work...

Welp, came out to a big old puddle of what appears to be power steering fluid this morning. Bugger. I thought the seals might've been leaking but this confirms it.

Level in the reservoir doesn't appear to have moved much if at all, so hoping it's just the boots getting rid of what's been accumulating for some time. Will be keeping an eye on it, but might be flagging the seals for a change at next service in a few thousand's time

Happy days, we're back online!

A further inspection of my green leak and it appears to actually be coming from the AC condenser - a known issue in these, but doesn't make me any happier. Oddly it's only a small drip coming from what looks to be a little nipple or something on the bottom passenger side.

Hey Le Cheese....just a question....how often does your a/c get run ???.....havent heard of the a/c condenser being a 'weak point' so thanks for the heads up with that.

If its the AC leaking usually means the AC isn't working or at least not well and not for long, I would get it checked ASAP, usually cheaper that way.......... nip a tiny hole in steering boot if it leaks juice you have bad seals if not then no leaks..... of course nip a neat round hole in the lowest part of the boot ... advised one fella who said I was wrong as his was leaking big time later on, when we checked he had put the hole at the top of the boot...... Duh.....

Good to see the play room is back on line................
