Woohoo,thread file saved the day.

Despite the first two turns missing on the powersteering line it cleaned up ok.Screwed it in and away I went.Did two laps of the block(one lap wasn't enough lol),my first drive since starting the rebuild back in Nov.

Geez they're a nice drive!Looks like we will get along fine.I was worried it would be a stiff pig of a thing.Run it over a couple of gutters and traffic islands to make sure.

Std shocks and 2.5"-3" lifted springs, new brakes and diff bushes etc.

Only complaint is the return to centre wasn't real flash.

Zg's don't use the tabs so I don't think it is a big drama, I have used 12.9 grade bolts in the past but I used a normal nut with a nilock as a lock nut, this didn't work loose on my Cape York trip.

I am now using factory Zg bolts with my adjustable arms as they are slightly longer.....

I still have that hose if you need it...

The return to centre issue will most likely be your caster....

If you want to make sure it always centres get a return-to-centre steering damper, the one with the big spring on it...

Now get it registered!!!!

Still a bit of tinkering yet...

Got a 2.7m x 1.2m 1/2" sheet of ply last week for $10,got to build some rear shelves/tucker box etc first.Plus fit a new harmonic balancer and crank seal.

Scored two 8mm x 7m chains today, should be great for snigging out Patrols/Cruisers/Landies.LOL
