If i had that much trouble i would have driven it through the show room window at my nearest dealer and taken out as many new cars as i could on the way in.

Does the sale of goods act cover this? I know in the UK you can refuse to accept the car citing that it is unfit for purpose. Did you buy it under finance? This may be another avenue to pursue, again the vehicle is unfit for purpose. Not sure if the same applies here.
