Default Wrong speedo input

You need to get your speedo input from the transfer case sensor. You can't use the dashboard end because of the way the dash wiring is used for more than one purpose and then seperated by computer (a data bus?).

I'm using the Mk 1 Jaycar kit and it works well. The Mk 2 should be easier to set up.

Yup. Should have replied here. I got the feed from the wiring loom prior to entering the firewall, before the join to the computer. My problems ended up being a solder track drying up during my soldering. After going over the board, I found it, fixed it, and all is well.

And yes, the MK 2 kit is very easy to set up.
