Goodbye for now
I am about to leave the WH forum and resurface in the WK forum, having signed a contract to buy a 2017 Laredo. My old friend the WH is for sale, but if no offers this week will probably trade it in for only $6000.
It's still a good car, (Vic) registered and roadworthy, lots of extras, so any bargain hunters see my ad in for sale!
The WH has been a great vehicle, very little trouble in 9 years and I'm sure still has a few more yrs left!!

Finally got an offer ($8000) so if that goes through it's better than the trade-in offer at least. She's not going without a fight - put it in to get the RWC redone and now it needs the central brake lamp replaced and rear bump stops! Why they didn't pick up on these two items last time I dunno, would have saved me some time now!

Got a brake light from Poly 4x4 for $70 (s/h) and booked in to Pedders for the bump stop replacements.
If all goes through, I'll be saying goodbye to the WH next week and hello the the WK2!
I'll post a review after the whole deal has gone through!

Finally, she's gone! A bit sad after 9 years, but now I've got the 'new' WK2 to get used to.
The WH has given me good service , I would have to say it was the best vehicle I've ever had.
Only 4 'breakdowns ' in 9 years; Turbo intercooler pipe, covered by warranty, swirl motor problem which cost me all of $2 to 'fix', front driveshaft cv joint $550, turbo actuator $400.
Apart from these things, the usual service items, batteries, tyres, brake rotors and pads, engine belts and pulleys, no major dramas. For the RWC, it needed front lower ball joints, rear bump stops and the Centre brake lamp.
All in all, I would say fair service for a vehicle with 221000 km on the clock.
Don't let anyone say Jeeps are unreliable, I had no hesitation buying another one. I just hope it's as good as the first.
Au Revoir, and see you on the WK forum.
