OK, now you have all probably worked out that I am a tiler that does bathroom renovations.
The sand /cement screed was actually crushed quartz. It was difficult to work with but it would do the job and it was free. I used extra cement in it and I used a really strong bonding agent. Pics show the bathroom but I also did the laundry floor and the rear foyer floor.
The next day was floor tiles and more construction of the shower recess. AG had work commitments so I pushed on ahead. After work he would help me and cook some awesome food. The job was finished to a stage when I had to leave.
I met up with AG at his work as I was leaving, promising to return one day. A drive back to Devonport and onto the boat I went. After a few beers, telly and bed I was back in Melbourne. Decided to catch up with Ruffy01 in Geelong. I picked up some more parts from him and we had a really good chin wag. I would have hoped I could have caught up with LAYBACK on my return but time was no running out. I called in to XJeepers near Canberra on my return for another great chin wag and a few more parts. I was home around 10pm.
It was great to meet some of my forum buddies and I feel good I have done my best for AG. Tassie is a great place. I would do it again.

Cheers Rusty.

Done a fair bit on the house over the last 12 months. Here are the latest pics. Working on the laundry at the present and will load some pics of it once I get the splashback tiled.

What do you reckon Rustynuts? Bit better kitchen than when you were here??
