Yeah, that's one thing we're going to do, is chamfer the end of the pin so it'll look a little like a door lock pin and I'll grade the ramp on the bracket too.

I've now also found where the flex is and I'm positive I can prevent the flex of the hinge by adding another support bracket behind the hinge with a plate that sits above the hinge, supporting the top of it.

It'll take some thinking and care when designing and welding it, so it dos the job it needs to without looking hideous. But once it's sprayed black and sits with the rest I know I'll quite like the "heavy duty" look of it

Wont be to everyone's liking but fitted up my $65 Mopar tube front bar including Mopar fog lights using my $20 Mopar tow hooks. Modified the bar to work with the Mopar light bar I already had fitted. I'm happy with the look and don.t want a winch.

Thanks! Got the tow hooks on here last year because no one wants them and got the bar on ebay a few weeks ago, again because no one wants them. I just gave the bar centre a few coats of kill rust flat black and did the chrome tube ends in Dupli Color bed liner. Had to drill a couple 60mm holes for the light bar but all worked out really well.
