Help please Jeep Grand Cherokee Owners!
Like Techscholar we've got a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and we are looking at purchasing new tyres but road tyres NOT offroad.
Unfortunately, we've just discovered this morning a screw in one of the tyres and this prompted us to look at the spare tyre only to discover the rims & tyre sizes differ.....as Techscholar also mentioned.
So firstly, as the tyres/rims currently fitted on all 4 wheels are 265/50R20 107V and the spare is P245/65R18 .......surely if the spare was fitted (now that we have a screw in the tyre) the vehicle would be unsafe to drive???
Anyone know the reason why they would differ?? Maybe not the height of the tyre profile but I would have thought the rims should be the same size.
And lastly, anyone recommend replacement tyre brands for onroad tyres? Brands/Prices & why you recommend them.
Thanks everyone
