Lastly, real Jeeps have steel grilles ;)
I own and love the JK i am 6'6" tall and have heaps of headroom but i agree about the grille being plastic.
All Wranglers look good its just there style lets face it if we didnt love them we wouldnt be here but i think the JK is just the natural progresion and the next model that comes out we will all go "I don't know about that untill we get use to it but chances are there will still be those that are die hard TJ fans and those that are die hard JK fans but we will all go check them out because they are a Wrangler.

Am still sitting with the TJ. The JK unlimited - hot truck for a different market me thinks.

2dr JK, looks like its heading a bit too far down the corporate generic styling, and after a few more generations, it will be nearly indistinguishable from its competitors.

I am not a fan of the "lets build someings so devoid of interesting features that no one can be offended or dislike it" corporate styling that most car manufacturers have adopted. - probably 1 of the contributing factors in why I chose the very distinguished, and emotive TJ in the first place . .

my 2 cents worth only

Have you compared the room to the TJ? Just curious...I'm a 5'10" ShortArse - and I thought the JK roll bar was WAY too close to my head......
Letalone trying to get into the rear seat of the 4door - still got the lumps on my head (no wait they were there before).....That sound bar was right at forehead height......

But I agree each generation has its fans.......Oh yeah I like our CJ's better than the TJ ...and the FSJ and Pointy nose jeeps styles are prefered even more again ;)

Prefer the look of the TJ, but looooove the idea of 4 doors and some practical space all with the roof off. Also like the fact you can fix bigger tyres easily with a small lift...so one day I'd image there'll be a 4 door JK in the garage (next to the TJ that will then become a real 'toy' ;).

I am 6'8'' and have no trouble in the JK or the TJ... TJ was great for headroom, in the JK I just pump the seat down and it's perfect.

if your worried about ur head and the rollbar... that is what the roll bar padding is for!!

Though I am looking at moving the sound bar to a different position in the back, or just put 2 sound pods in the rear...
