Default TJ Rear Licence Plate Relocator ( pics/dropbox of autocad dwg.)

Thought i'd put this up if anyone else is interested,

Autocad DWG of a rear number plate relocator. Good little project if you have an hour or so and some spare plate.

Used to relocate your number plate to the spare tyre carrier, also has a mount for uhf antenna.

I had some spare 3mm mild steel plate and missus allowed me some spare shed time, so fabbed this up as i can't put my 35 on my tailgate.

after primer/hammertone.

basically use the dwg at your own risk, check your hole measurements and width is good for your state ( WA I think every now and then we use longer or shorter plate.)

If anyone else is keen, I have also made a quick removeable one for the actual wheel carrier so the licence plate and light fit inside the tyre itself, and 2 10mm bolts the plate slides off and you can easily get the tyre off.

Pete.
