Default Hood insulation

G'day all
What are your thoughts on taking off hood insulation.
Do you think this foam material holds heat in my crd.

Thinking of taking it off.

Cheers kris

First big muddy day trip I did, it got soaked and when I hit it with the Karcher, it was so heavy it fells off itself.
I threw it the bin, and that was the best and cheapest CRD mod I ever did. There were zero problems with it gone.

Having the same issue keeping my insulation properly attached under the hood. Have you noticed any issues with the outside of the hood?? Heat patches or discoloration in the paint with it removed?? Or is it more of a noise / fire dampener if that was to unfortunately ever occur...

Think I'll stick with the high performance bare metal...... no issues thus far, easy to clean and hell who wants to keep the heat and noise in anyway
