Prick of a job
First time I took mine out I used a 1/4" drive socket with a very strong socket. Had 2 extensions & a 1/4" to 1/2" adapter & a 1/2" breaker bar. The extensions flexed nearly 1//2 a turn before it came loose. Just nipped it up when doing back up.
Good luck with it Muz !

Hi Muz, no did not remove the engine mount, the extensions, were the right length to get the air ratchet, between the starter motor and the engine mount, tight fit

You just poke it around where you think it should go until you feel it on the bolt head. ~ bit like your comment about the virgin! ~ once the head is in the socket dont let it fall out!

Works for me.
