Default The good old days

Hey guys I often hear the term the "good ol days" but were the "good ol days" really that good. Be good if people could say what they remember happening in the good old days in their own lifetime.

That happens all the time. I recall driving home from work when i was in the Army thinking it just doesn't get any better than this.
I thought that quite often.

Leaded/super petrol at under 40 cents per litre.
No speed cameras, red light cameras, if you got caught speeding its cos the cops chased you and you werent fast enough lol
Beer at about $13-$15 a slab.

They were the good old days.

Pubs with live bands
Steak chips and a pot $5
fist fights rather than stabbings and glassings
A selection of 4 maybe 5 beers tops at richos prices above

Petrol at under 40¢ a litre that dear I can remember when it was under 40¢ a gallon!

and what was the transition like from blck and white to colour?? did they issue special glasses ???

I remember not having a care in the world.. I remember being a brat, anything I can remember usually is from my good old days...
