Some pics of 99 xj Lra 51 litre LPG petrol tank install, I added an extra 90degree bracket on the reservoir tank as the unit was supplied with only 2 and after repairing an xj with severe cracking in the floor due to lpg tank dirt road vibrations felt it was worth fitting and is easier than after it receives petrol fumes. Also there is a plastic roll over valve at the top of this tank which is worth preserving.

Fitted the snorkel to my 94 xj yesterday ,
Started off ok ,removed washer bottle
read instructions ,taped ,measured ,read instructions , checked AJOR threads ,read instructions all ok
Drilled pilot holes ,ok
drilled main hole in guard ,(some one said point drill down slightly ,did that )
the hole ended up app 15mm too low inside the guard ,obviosly i tilted the drill too much ) finally after lots of foul lingo and reboring, the hole was sorted out ,
the drilling of the air box went well ,not a problem there!
fitting adaptor to air box and refilling old inlet ,still no problem ,
Struck a snag when the aircon pipping was in the way of the air inlet hose
so i had to undo the aircon bracket to allow the hose to enter the airbox "clean",no kinks etc
so now i have to reattach the aircon piping to the body somewhere (Oh yea ,also fitted a throttle body spacer so that moved a few more hoses, etc
any way ,got it fitted and all ends well just a pic of my 3 jeeps : neato hey !!!p
