Default Problems connecting to the internet
Need some help, our laptop wont connect to the internet!
It says its connected and everything but i can't get on to
any webpage!?!?!?

Ive tried to clear the history and disconnect and reconnect
tried to restart and everything.....
Where to go from here?

Lil help please


oh and i ran diagnostics and it says there is no problem??????

did you turn your router off for a ferw minutes and back on?
who you with and what kind of connection? Wireless?
I get the same prob with my iinet BoB, jams up.

Yumpet,

also check to see if your browser is in offline mode. that will stop it from searching for webpages. Try sending yourself an E-mail that will show whether you have an internet connection or not.

AH HA got it, god damn all i had to do was reset the modem

Has happened to me quite a few times when running Vista, allI did was disable the ethernet adaptor, then run diagnostic to which it said the adaptoer was disabled, it enabled it and it worked fine from there.
