Default Room under passenger seat?

I need to find a spot for the parking assist and transmission control units which are normally under the rear seat. Would there be enough under the front passenger seat if I mount them to the floor? They would only need about 3 cm of clearance.

Yes they would be but the modules under the back seat are the rear park assist module and the final drive control module.

I'm happy to be corrected but I believe the Hemi TCM is part of the PCM, only the NAG1 equipped grands had a stand alone TCM mounted up under the dash.

Been 10 years since the seats have been bolted in and not to easy to get to them and try! The floor steps up closer to the tunnel and was hoping I could fit them there between the mounting points for the seat?

I keep a 1kg fire extinguisher secured in the space under the passenger seat and it clears the mechanism (just).

Yep that's correct @Clarky, hemi TCM part of the PCM in engine bay.

@Gojeep, if you need to cut into the FDCM loom you might-as-well wire some LEDs/switches in for the diff solenoids while you're there
