Default Steering Stabilizer Relocation

Has anyone relocated their steering stabilizer on higher so it doesn't hang down low waiting to be hit.
LHD and RHD WJ's use the same axle so i thought that maybe Jeep mounted the stabilizer down low because on the LHD models all the steering components are in that same spot above it.

I've never seen anything like this, I do believe it may be possible, but it's never been a concern for me because I've never been close to damaging my steering damper.

I just installed a second steering stabilizer on the track bar. So i assume this should work with the primary too.
However you will need a bracket to mount it on the track bar.

My primary is parallel to the tie rod but slightly above. So I would rather bent the tie rod than the stabilizer.

Oh I see what you mean. Well I assume as long as you keep it aligned with the tie rod you should be able to either cut off the bracket and weld it on again or get something I had for the second stabilizer (simple bracket around the axle). In this case you should be able to mount it over the axle rather than below.
