Hi
I am a new 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk MY 15 owner based in Victoria Australia. I am seeking the assistance of other Cherokee owners who have had problems with their cars and settled with either the Australian dealer or Fiat Chrysler Australia.
In the interests of full disclosure I have a matter pending against Urban Auto Enterprises Pty Ltd trading as City Chrysler Jeep Dodge (Southbank Mlebourne, Australia) in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Appeals Tribunal. My car was supplied with a faulty roof in that it was not attached in the cargo area, a patch on the front driver's seat and within a month my transmission failed on a major arterial road. The transmission was replaced, and all faults have been rectified by the dealer although I still have a horrendous grinding sound going uphill over speed humps.
I would like to know if there are any other Australian Jeep Cherokee 2014- owners that have been successful in seeking compensation in an Australian Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
Any assistance that you can provide would be appreciated. I am aware of a raft of American cases where compensation has been paid but no Australian examples.
