This happens quite often, almost always. It does not have any misfires. It runs smooth as silk and is easy to start. But sometimes when I stop it using the key it runs some extra rounds before it stops (2-5sec). I have cleaned the sensor contacts with connection cleaner. At least the sensors I have located so far
In my diesel manual there is a few sensors that controls the injector pump.
TPS--------------------->|
Engine temp sensor------>| ECM |----->Injection pump---->Injectors
injector spring sensor---->|
CPS--------------------->|

If you are lucky, moving the injector body about 1/10mm may improve things.
Good luck

Make sure you can return it to the original place if it makes it worse.
You can keep on making small moves if it improves.
I have done this.

When you take the top off the IP you will see. I dont think you will need to solder.
At this point in time I think your problem is adjustment. When they did the seal it was probably put back just on the limit & now it has settled you have a problem.
You undo 4 bolts for the lid & then more for the body, the electronics are in the body & there is a pin sticking out the bottom in to the pump body that swings in an arc to move the rack in the pump.
