Default What radiator
Hi guys,

I have a friend who has a 2016 JK 3.6l with a leaking radiator, needs replacement.

What is everyone replacing it with and where to get from, have been looking online the aluminium radiators has anyone replaced with this and any issues.

Aluminium good for keeping down the heat a little as 3.6 known to run a tad bit hot.

But aluminium ones can be prone to cracking and not last as long. Could buy a second generation (V2) mishimoto but more costly than alternatives.

Me personally, I’d just go a stock oem equivalent.

You can find genuine OEM radiators on ebay.

I got one from Natrad. Lasted a few years, got another from another local place whose name I can't remember now, but who gave me excellent instructions on the replacement & flushing. It has been fine since, so I think I messed up somewhere on the first one that let it corrode.
