I had my factory CD stacker repaired, cost $200.I think it was stuffed CD loader motor & a couple of diodes.

Perhaps get an ipod dock installed (will put up pic of mine - easy install), remove the stacker and use the space for storage ?? Just an idea

Saw the stackers new on amazon.com for $410 but they won't send them to Aust

Tied cleaning it? If not, try it n see what happens.


Ipod idea doesnt work! I tried it. There isnt a AUX output. Unless you want to get the thing that pugs into the ciggerett lighter(if it still works) and put up with static.

I took my 10 stacker out and replaced it with a in-car computer system that gives me Navigation, mp3, TV, OBDII, wireless connection & music at a touch and it all comes through the existing stereo using an aapter from the USA, with volume controls on the steering wheel. I'm sure I have the stacker in the garage - I'll never use it again - soooo 2000, as mentioned. The cheaper alternative is use a Ipod with wireless connection to your stereo
