Default WG Grand Cherokee Long range fuel tank 132L

Asking Price: 675.00
Condition: Used
Location: Central Vic (local pickup)
WG WJ 1999- 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Long range fuel Tank 132L Brown & Davis.
All steel construction to suit either petrol of diesel powered Jeeps. Removed from a 2002 Jeep grand Cherokee CRD diesel Overland, but will fit all Limited and Laredo's. This tank replaces the existing factory fuel tank and nearly doubles your cruising range. It does not change 4WD departure angles etc and is made from thick steel construction to ensure rugged durability. It requires the car has a towbar fitted, I can supply a hayman reece tow bar for extra if necessary. It was in a CRD Overland but it can be used in petrol Jeeps you just use your in tank pump. Note it is not supplied with an intank fuel pump the current installed diesel fuel pump will be sold seperately.

It fits to all 1999- 2004 jeep Grand Cherokee's with factory installed rear suspension including factory lift kit, note it may not fit cars with modified rear suspension.

The Brown Davis fuel tank range is designed to give maximum fuel capacity without affecting ground clearance or ramp over/departure angles, and are exceptionally strong to withstand the toughest conditions. Constructed from high grade 2mm, 14 gauge, aluminum coated cold rolled steel, ensures maximum strength and durability, without the need for any tank guards. The construction of Brown Davis long range tanks, pairs the strength of steel with the anti corrosion properties of an aluminum coating giving excellent impact resistant meaning tank guards are not necessary, as the aluminised steel is not prone to fatigue, vibration or twisting.

FEATURES:

Tapered approach angle to reduce frontal impact and improve ramp over clearance

Longitudinal and lateral baffling system to prevent fuel slosh and to strengthen tank structure

Gusseted brackets with double thickness pads to evenly disperse weight

Fuel pump sender flange designed to re-use the vehicle’s original equipment

Swirl pot designed to carrel fuel around the pick up point

Roll over check valve and expansion box for fuel expansion and venting

Fast fill breather for rapid filling and to reduce bowser shut off

Filler tube, connects at vehicles original filling point

Cushion clamps to retain fuel lines to prevent damage and kinking

Magnetic drain plug, horizontal and flush mounted to prevent damage.

Comprehensively impact and pressure tested to greater than ADR standards.

Considerably less than new price of around $1200-$1300, pretty easy to fit just remove your old tank and remove its pump and install in this tank and then bolt this in place, it uses the original filling point.

Email me for some pics of it in the car and then removed.
