Default Coleman Hot Water on Demand $$

Hey guys,

So the time has come where i have to purchase the coleman hot water for its apparently excellent shower capabilities (thankyou girlfriend) - i wont complain.

But after resarching it all, reading all the highly commending comments, ive noticed that there has been a sharp increase in the price from around 350 (as low as 275) to 499.

I can only attribute this to the changing price of imported goods. But really - 150 increase? I guess i just want to know, does anybody know of where i could get one for a lower price? I there anything comparable? I see the primus one doesnt get a lot of praise?

Any suggestions?
Cheers!

I got ours from Tentworld Browns plains for $399.

You can also buy from their website for the same price - http://www.tentworld.com.au/showitem.aspx?item=84080

Haven't used it as a shower yet, but works fantastically in the kitchen

I have a small bundle of firewood, a pot for boiling some water, a bucket, towel, soap and facewasher. All up about $5.00. Camping is about camping. Stay in a motel if you need something more grand.

Thanks for the constructive comment ./sarcasm. I certainly don't need a lecture of what is and isn't camping.

Anyway I've managed to find one I can get for 350 off an eBay seller. I've used the solar bags for quite a while now too. But it just doesn't cut it in winter, especially with plans for the koszi national park this ski season. The gf wants something for her needs too. I think it might be the best option. Tho I will check the primus out now.
