GoPro tips and advice?
The 32gig class 10 high speed cards seem to be the pick for value atm. 8 gig would be the minimum size I'd recommend using.

If you are going to shoot in the high resolutions like Protune 2K and 4K it's recommended you use a high quality card. I've read of people having problems with the San Disk class 10 cards. It's a big outlay for a high quality card, so a bit of research on the Go Pro forum may save an expensive mistake.
On another note, there's a new update for the Go Pro app for phones and tablets. Once you've done the update you have to update your camera firmware. If you don't the app won't work. They neglect to tell you this when you update the app.

You have to install the Cineform studio software on your PC, download from the GoPro website. It has a tool to perform the firmware updates, pay close attention to the instructions during this process. Will be interesting to see what enhancements there are.

You don't need Cineform to update the camera firmware, you can just do it straight from the website. You may have to update to the latest version of Java before the site will allow the update, if you have problems there are instructions to do the update manually. My version of Cineform only allows you to update a Hero 2.
