Default Roof Mounted Light Bar

Hey does anyone know if it's possible to mount a light bar across the top of the windscreen on the JGC? With the a-pillar type mounts? I don't want it mounted to any sort of roof rack or roof bars.

And has anyone mounted any on the front somehow, WITHOUT a bullbar?

Cheers.

A bracket like this should work-- https://gglights.com/products/jeep-wk2-mounts

Though drilling is required.

With it right at the front of the roof it will shine like a mother on the bonnet, best is to mount it a bit further back, mines a little further back and works a treat without blinding me

Check the laws in your state for light bar placement. I think in ACT and Tassie you cannot have a lightbar above bonnet height and NSW might be ok but must have a cover on during the day...
Have a look online there is a bit of info.

Buy a Chief Products nudge bar and mount a led light bar to it, like a STEDI ST3303 21.5 INCH 32 LED DOUBLE ROW ULTRA HIGH OUTPUT LED BAR

The Stedi light bar is awesome and lights more then you need. I love mine.

Plus you can also add an aerial on the nudge bar for a CB in the future.

Best answer! Thanks mate.

Didn't know about the bloody nanny state laws around light bars. Though I shouldn't be surprised.

Where would the CB antenna mount though?
