Default Growing Too Fast

Hey Guys,

It's been awhile since I've been able to jump onto the forums. Over the last few months Chief Products has been growing faster than I've been able to keep up with. We made our first sale a little over 12 months ago and it's been full-speed-ahead ever since. Of course it's been amazing to see the positive response to all the hard work and passion I've been putting into Chief, but I'm looking forward to a bit more free time for some of my other passions... like posting on the forms, BSing around the campfire and tackling some fun off-road trails.

The good news is, over the last few months I've been lucky enough to find some amazingly talented people and make them apart of the Chief team. It's hard finding people that really love what they do and are passionate about creating great products. It's taken some time but I think I've put together a team that is going to make the next 12 months something very special for Chief Products.

So... What have we been working on? We've started development on a dozen new products, (some of which are completely new categories for us). We're setting up warehousing and logistics in the USA for our North American customers. We're preparing to sell a collection of carefully selected 3rd party products, (i.e. off-road lights, lift-kit, etc.). We're preparing to launch our retailer network. Behind the scenes we've hired new staff, expanded our office, transitioned to a new stock control system and significantly upgraded our product development process to include very precise 3D scanning. Of course we're always adding new features and content to the website. But probably the significant thing we're about to do, is the start of our marketing campaign. To date, we haven't done any marketing beyond our website and a few posts on the Jeep forums. I've been working very hard to get a great team in place and everything running smoothly before we started marketing and it seems like that time is just around the corner.

Now for some fun stuff!

I bought a new 2015 5.7L Overland and we're starting to add all the fun toys. If you want to check it out jump onto this thread, (http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...d.php?t=138351).

During our Weekend Wheeling event we shot some fun videos. If you'd like to see the Chief WK2 tackling the trails at Land Cruiser Mountain Park check out our new YouTube playlist, (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...4jTDvIIOU7Izvb).

If you'd like to read a bit more about what Chief Products has been doing over the last 12 months and what we've got planned for 2015 check out this blog post, (http://www.chiefproducts.com.au/blog...s-new-horizons).

Cheers,
Bill
