Have tried clearing this error code but will not erase even when using ELM327{recommended for Deisels)Fixed all the problems related to this code. NO LUCK."PLEASE" can someone help?Even replaced the actual item that this code has said the problem is. "HELP"
It’d help to know a bit about the car, what engine etc but the cause for that code could be either the main or the aux cat converter depending on the market. And it might be as simple as the plug is corroded giving you too much resistance in the circuit.
Clean the respective cat sensor and plugs and disconect the batery earth to clear the codes afterwards. If you don't have any luck with that take it to the local muff doctor and they will run you through the range of options to sort you out
