Are there any vehicles with OEM pitmans just using a taper without splines? I can't think of any right now and didn't think it would handle the twisting force of the steering box? It is not a TRE which has its own pivot so doesn't see a turning force.
Yeah so the cnc machining of the tapers was a great idea and 2 out of 4 fit well.
Unfortunately they went too far into the knuckles, So the tre's hit the knuckle as the taper seats.
I dont have anymore spare knuckles. I think.
That will get sorted in the new year.
