Default Jeep Website update

When do you think the Jeep .au website will be updated with the JK.

Is the new model a secret? or are the marketeers at Jeep Aus so busy snorting lines that they haven't noticed anythings different?

... Yes... this 'living in denial ' thing is getting a little stale. I've got a few views on the lack of 'real' information..or even acknowledgment of the model.. but they aren't very.... what's the term.... 'P.C.'. So I'll let it slide. I'm up to my third email to Daimler Chrysler Australia regarding the model .. but yet to have a single reply. Some people obviously make their money far too easily.

... ...Yes finally at last..but a proof read might be in order.
..listed on the website..

..Axle Ratio.. 4 speed auto.. 4.1 .... (great )

5 speed auto.. 4.1.... ( still great)

6 speed manual... diesel... 4.1 ?? .. (Great ..if it's correct !)

6 speed manual ..petrol ... 2.2 ?? ( maybe 3.22 ?)

Transfer case reductions.. listed as 3.73 or 4.1....( shouldn't that be 2.72 or 4.1 ? )

..and finally... Towing capacity { when properly equipped }

2 door.... 1600 kg.
4 door... 2300 kg.
...but they don't actually define what properly equipped is. Given the U.S website lists the 2 door as able to tow 1000 lbs (not kg) in standard trim..and 2000 lbs..with the upgraded rear axle and ratios... I'm just a little curious. Perhaps the air is thinner over here. Given that the tow pack is usually the most popular option on our vehicles.. it's a wonder they just didn't order everything with a 4.1 /Dana 44 rear.

Another thing, maybe its a typo

It indicated on the specs page that the sport 2dr comes with leather wrapped steering wheel with cruise control but that box is not ticked on the 4dr version of the sport?

surely its a typo
