Default Sourcing Dorman 924-703 in Aus

My ignition lock cylinder in my WG jammed today. Wheres the best place to source this locally.

Try expedited shipping from rock auto as i'm sure the stealers will want your first born as a down payment.

how did you go with the ignition lock when it played up gibrate1. Mine generally has to jiggled about before I can turn the key and I think it will do the same, I thought it might be with the interlock system but I'm not to sure if it is that or either.

My ignition lock was actually fine and I left it in neutral so it wouldn't let me remove the key. On that day I removed the remote key fob, covered the "stuck key" and locked the Jeep with the remote key fob. I planned later that day to drive straight home and remove the lock cylinder to clean/replace. I ordered the crown unit from Kolak as he advised that the crown was better made.

Try spraying the ignition lock cylinder with PTFE spray to lubricate it if you only have intermittent issues.

Yep when I couldn't find any faults with the other mechanisms I gave it a quick spray, and it has sorted it out. Cheers thanks
