Default ZJ rear split seats into XJ?

Has anyone attempted to mount the split rear seats from a grand into an XJ? Rear seat is out and false floor in my XJ but now need a three seater and thinking if you can mount them in it would solve my problem.. any thoughts??

You should be able to search that topic and get a lot of results.

ZJ/WJ FRONT seats swap into XJs (using the xj frame) but the rear seats are totally different and need some modification.

Look into it though as I haven't read about the topic in a while.

I reckon you'd be able to do it but it would be illegal unless you get it inspected and passed by the authorities...
