I hadnt see this footage yet!!! On the Friday we were invited by Chic Henry to do the burnout comp as a demo with Victor Bray's Drag car!
It was unreal and we surpassed our expectations! Matty started the burnout in front wheel drive until be made it to the burnout pad. Then he sat there for ages in rear wheel drive and just edged it around with the rear steer and cutting brakes. Then he HOOOKKKEED IN flicking the buggy left and right doing figure 8s with ease. The croud was going nuts. The presenter was luving it and going nuts but little did we know the accelarator got stuck so Matty butted it up to the crash barrier in front of the main stan and then put both hands out the window, this sent the croud into a frezzy!!!
After we found out we had melted the computer, siezed the starter motor and cooked a couple of other things
Matty drove it like this until she overheated and stopped, We did it again on the sunday however we fogot to put on of the sensors back in and it cause the radiator fan not to works so it heated up quickly and then pop the hose off, not to be deterred Matty started up again and hooked in until the motor died!!! ouch
