Haven't visited for a while fellas, but to support Mousie's comment about that Provent tap - it's a bugger, mine always leaked. Even fitted a tight fitting plastic cap I found at the green shed and still it leaked.
Those formed hoses are obviously new, good move I reckon, will eliminate the 'wet' elbow joints which I also had...

Great to see Southerncomfort on here....hoping your Euro motoring is 'fine driving'....this thread has answered a question for me....I've found the factory fibre underbody 'cover' wet with oil since fitting the catch can...thank you Jeeper6.....my initial thought was either the tap leaked a bit or I had inadvertently 'bumped' it to a partly open position when tucking it away after draining it....not too fussed about the factory fibre board being oil soaked, but, I can see where it would be an issue if under body bash plates were fitted and obviously metal wont soak up the drip and drops would be on the concrete.....thanks for the heads up fella's....note to self....buy a decent tap fitting when fitting under body bash plates.....the forum strikes again !

Hope those hoses are better than Western Filters old kits. My hoses sweat heaps but I have the leaking drain valve at the barb/hose fitting. Lucky I have painted garage floor and just makes me drain the hose a bit more often.

Let us know if those preformed hoses are available seperate please. I have some on my Amarok from Net4x4 but he uses proper silicone like the aftermarket intercooler joiners you can get and they worked a treat.

I had an oil leak from the drain valve (same valve) supplied with the Provent 200 kit so I fitted one of these:

I've got my drain valve facing upwards at the same level as the catch can and have had no issues with drips, understandably. Bit more of a task to empty it (have to pull it down through the engine bay so that it's next to the sump guard, empty it, and then route it back up through again to zip tie it up), but it works a treat.

Keen to hear how you get on with the formed hoses John - my original ones, like suggested, are a touch weepy. Again, in saying that, I can't say I've ever noticed actual drips anywhere - and it's parked on concrete for all of its life

These weepy hoses must be just heater hoses they are using my oil/fuel rated hose is as dry as chips on the outside, my bunnings irrigation joiners don't leak or weep and my garden water system tap works fine, even the bolt and zip tie job I used when I mangled the tap didn't leak......... No pressure so no need for expensive stuff, so long as they are oil and heat resistant all is good, 3rd catch can the garden fittings have been used, no dramas... just bought some 25mm oil/fuel hose.

Bunnings " Pope 13mm In-Line Barbed Tap" $5.65

...seems they will all leak at the tap...I fitted a cap over the tap end which contains any seepage...need to remove of course when draining but no issue.
